Shellback Dinghy - Brand New

Last year we built one of the famed Joel White designed Shellback dinghies for a client who now has placed the boat up for sale due to a change in circumstances.

Construction is clinker/lapstrake ply with laminated celery top pine backbone and huon Pine fitout.

This boat is a little different from the plans in that she has built in byouyancy tanks, teak bottm boards and huon pine transom and rudder.

The boat comes fully finished with painted hull, varnished brightwork, classic cream lugsail and custom oars.

Denman Marine specialises in custom wooden boat building and repair. We utilise both traditional methods such as carvel or clinker and modern methods such as strip planking, cold molding or clinker plywood.
