Barton Marine was founded in 1948 by Whitstable Shipwright and boat builder Ron Barton. Since its inception, Barton has become a world leader in the manufacture of yachting blocks, line handling systems and general marine hardware with agents in 32 different countries and their equipment is used as standard on many new vessels.
After an absence from the Australian market for a number of years, in 2010 Denman Marine became Barton's Australian agent not only utilising their products on our own vessels but providing marine hardware solutions Australia wide.
Barton Marine has a fantastic range of marine hardware and some really inovative and award winning products such as the ClamSeal and the Barton Boomstrut.
Denman Marine specialises in custom wooden boat building and repair. We utilise both traditional methods such as carvel or clinker and modern methods such as strip planking, cold molding or clinker plywood.
We can custom build to any design - for example those by Iain Oughtred, David Payne, Paul Gartside, John Welsford, Mark Bowdidge, Francois Vivier, Atkin , Bolger B&B etc.
